PINE BLUFF JUNIORS, along with the USA Olympic Committee and Delta Region Volleyball, are committed to creating a safe and positive training environment for all participants.
Our intent with SafeSport is to provide information and resources so that all members of the sport community have the awareness, tools and support structure they need to do their part. By taking a proactive stance and working together, we can ensure that sport continues to deliver on its promise to athletes and the communities that nurture them.
Our Participant Safety Handbook (1) provides a general overview of PINE BLUFF JUNIORS’s safety strategies, which are designed to reduce misconduct in sport, including child physical and sexual abuse, and (2) identifies PINE BLUFF JUNIORS’s expectations of not only its coaches, staff, and volunteers – but also parents and athletes.
Please take some time to review these policies with your athlete to help them understand (1) how PINE BLUFF JUNIORS expects coaches, staff and volunteers to treat them, and (2) how PINE BLUFF JUNIORS expects athletes to treat other athletes.
Volleyball should be fun and take place in a safe, supportive environment! Sometimes it can be hard to figure out what's okay and what crosses the line.
You should know that a whole team stands ready to help and protect you. If you have questions, wnat to disclose an incident or just need someone to talk with, SafeSport can help.
